The furniture present in the hall includes the table for municipal elections, mentioned in documents only from 1586 on as a “round table for balloting”, which held up the vessel containing the ballots ‒originally black and white balls‒ used for voting. The walnut table features the municipal coat of arms at its centre, held up by caryatids and eagles with their wings spread. The fine quality of the inlay has led experts to attribute it to the master cabinetmaker Giacomo Cavazza, who was involved in decorating the Chamber of the Podestà, or imperial governor, in the same period. The three chests featuring floral motifs and human and animal figures and the two finely inlaid cabinets dating from the late 16th and early 17th centuries are also of local origin.
